IoT Solutions Congress Brasil will bring together international speakers with experience at NASA and the White House

Focused on exploring the business potential of IoT in the country, the event promoted by iCities will present trends and innovations in IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Connectivity

São Paulo, May 13, 2024 – On the 6th and 7th of June São Paulo will host the IoT Solutions Congress Brazil, an event promoted by iCities, a Brazilian company that pioneered smart cities. It will be the first time that the meeting takes place in Brazil and will bring the biggest innovations and trends on the Internet of Things, also known as IoT (Internet of Things). 

The IoT Solutions Congress Brasil 2024 aims to increase innovation and competitiveness in the technological scenario, especially with regard to the Internet of Things linked to public administration. Topics such as transport management, waste, education, water resources, health, safety and lighting will be extensively covered during the event.

To present trends, innovations and debate the counterpoints of this universe, the congress will feature world-renowned experts in the sector, such as Beau Woods. With more than 20 years of experience in risk management, cybersecurity and strategy, Woods has collaborated with initiatives such as I Am The Cavalry, Stratigos Security, US CISA (The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency), US FDA (Food and Drugs Administration), and the Atlantic Council.

Woods advocates a broad, integrated approach to information security. At IoT Solutions Congress Brasil, the executive will explain how to apply this perspective to mitigate risks, emphasizing values such as future vision, integrity, passion and focus on the essential. 

Another prominent international name will be Robin Bass, a leader with a solid career in Information Technology, whose journey began with the Shuttle and Space Station programs at NASA. Bass has led the design and delivery of large-scale global technology solutions across different industries, working with companies such as KPMG, Wipro, Google, UPS, BP, Shell, DOW and Halliburton. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, Bass is committed to Generative Analytics, AR/VR and quantum computing as vehicles for change. 

The public will also be able to count on the experience of Dave Lafferty, an executive with more than 40 years of experience in developing digitalization projects for energy industries. Lafferty will be able to share success stories involving generative Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity in different segments of the energy industry. 

In addition to the experts mentioned, leaders such as the Director of Emerging Technology at Microsoft Tech Sales in Brazil, Waldemir Cambiucci, and the founder of Mobilize Brasil, Ricky Ribeiro, will also be on the congress agenda.  

The IoT Solutions Congress Brasil is endorsed by Fira Barcelona, a platform internationally recognized as one of the most influential in fairs and business meetings in the world. The congress will be the first iCities event in São Paulo and marks an important step towards technological advances in Brazil.
